Dear Readers, Authors, Reviewers, Editorial Board Members, and Friends of Isagoge – Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences,
It is with great joy and a deep sense of gratitude that we address the entire academic community of Isagoge to share a historic milestone in the journal’s still young, yet already promising, editorial trajectory.
Founded in 2021, Isagoge – Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences has obtained, in its first official evaluation within the CAPES Qualis Periódicos system, the A3 classification, an achievement that honors the journal’s editorial project from its very beginnings and exceeds the expectations typically associated with a journal in its initial years.
In the 2021–2024 quadrennium, the journal was classified as A3 in the following areas in which it published recognized scholarly work:
-
Law
-
Education
-
Geography
-
Interdisciplinary Studies
-
Psychology
With Law as its parent area, this transversal recognition highlights the plural, interdisciplinary, and rigorous character of Isagoge, as well as the consistency of its commitment to academic excellence in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
This expressive result would not have been possible without the dedicated collaboration of our authors, who entrusted their research to the journal from its earliest issues; our reviewers, whose careful and generous evaluations ensure the scientific quality of the publications; our Editorial Board, which guides and sustains the academic project; and our readers, who are the ultimate purpose of all editorial work.
To all of you, we extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks.
May this first—and already highly significant—evaluation inspire us to continue strengthening Isagoge as a qualified space for critical reflection, interdisciplinary dialogue, and scholarly production committed to scientific rigor and social relevance.
With gratitude and renewed commitment,
Sergio Salles
