ISAGOGE adopts a Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC-ND).
CC BY-NC-ND is a Creative Commons license that stands for "Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives," meaning that the work can be freely shared and used as long as proper attribution is given to the original author, it is not used for commercial purposes, and no changes are made to the original work.
Authors who publish their work under the CC BY-NC-ND Creative Commons license retain the copyright to their work.
The CC BY-NC-ND license allows for the distribution and sharing of the work, but with certain restrictions.
Specifically, users are required to give proper attribution to the original author, cannot use the work for commercial purposes, and cannot make any modifications or derivatives of the original work.
Despite these restrictions, the author retains ownership of their work and has the right to control how it is used.
By publishing under a Creative Commons license, authors are able to make their work freely available to a wider audience while still retaining control over how it is used.
Isagoge thus adheres to the definition of Open Access proposed by DOAJ and Bethesda Declaration on Open Access Publishing.
