Article Publishing Charge

All articles published in our journals are completely and full open access, i.e. immediately available free of charge to read, study, download, share on social networks.

The articles are published under the terms of a Creative Commons license, identified on the publication page of the article, and attributed immediately on the date of publication. Thus, JTS allows use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original publication is properly cited.

There are no submission charges, no charges for rejected articles and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures or supplementary data, provided that the article conforms to the journal's standard.

To cover the cost for providing our quality publishing service and free access to readers, authors pay a one-time article publishing charge (APC) for manuscripts accepted after peer-review.

APCs cover the following:

  1. Article production: professional language editing, typesetting, formatting, and production in PDF format.
  2. Article hosting: website maintenance and hosting with daily backup in a secure host.
  3. Article dissemination: full dissemination in Google Scholar, promotion of the journal among the research community;
  4. Article indexation: indexation in Google Scholar and many other international databases.

The payments are accepted in Real (BRL), Euro (EUR) or US Dollars (USD).

Upon acceptance, the corresponding/submitting author will receive an e-mail with instructions about APC payment.

Currently, we accept payment by bank deposit or credit card, on a 100% secure page.
